I created this space to share my journey—the ups, the downs, and everything in between—in the hope that you’ll find encouragement and remember that you are never alone. No matter what you’re walking through, God’s got you.

My story has had its fair share of challenges. Growing up, I was the only Black child in an all-white, private Christian school, where I was often greeted by classmates with painful words meant to tear me down.

 In my 20s, I underwent corrective heart surgery, and more recently I faced a double mastectomy. I’ve also walked through a challenging  divorce and the emotional toll of courtroom battles that left me with a little PTSD.

Through it all, I’ve been co-parenting two incredible kids—one teenager and one tween. Some days, keeping my head up felt almost impossible, and feeling beautiful in a body that had been through so much seemed out of reach.

But here I am, stepping into a completely new chapter of life. God is the reason I’m still standing, and I know He’s here for you, too.
